[edit] Executor

Woah there. The edit I made was intended to show the original stats for the Executor, seeing as the stats for everything bar the length and guns are woefully inaccurate with the new ITW stats by Saxton, and the Star Destroyers on the Star Destroyer page all have their original stats. That the length is 19km and the armament is 5000+ turbolasers and Ion cannons should be obvious if you read the past depictions section. I'm not one of those people who intends to deny reality by claiming the Executor is only 8000m. That said, well done for recognising the true length - for the longest time it was put in the article that it was 12.8 km, which it blatantly isn't. And no, i'm not going to change it back (I had forgotten all about it to tell you the truth).--SMegatron 19:23, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Saito and Okita

Hi. I've deleted your recent edit to the Okita Soji article. Okita calls Saito "master" in the OVA's English dub but it's NOT the case in the original Japanese script OR in the TV/manga series. As for why Okita calls Saito "san" and Saito calls Okita "kun," it's because Okita is politer than Saito. Okita is also a few months younger than Saito (in the RK universe, based on the theory that Okita was born in 1844).Seven 06:18, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

    • He also treats Saito, in both the Anime and Manga flashback as a mentor, especially when Saito steps in when he starts coughing.
What do you mean??? He treats Saito as a friend, like how Kenshin treats Sano. For example, Sano also steps in when Kenshin is unconcious during his battle with Shishio. Seven 17:41, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
        • I mean, I sensed a sort of Master/Apprentice bond between Saito and Okita. Okita was portrayed younger than Saito, and does a thrust similar to the Gatotsu. It really seemed like at one time, Saito taught Okita.

Not at all! Okita was portrayed a few months younger than Saito (even though Okita looks a lot younger but hey, Kenshin also looks a lot younger than he really is.) In addition, Saito talks to people (including Kenshin and Sano) as if he's giving them orders.

Vol. 7, Act 53
Saitou: An avoided thrust can become an attack from the side in an instant. The Hiratsuki, as devised by the tactics genius Hijikata Toshizou, the second-in-command of the Shinsengumi, has no weak points. And my Gatotsu is even more so.

Clearly, Saito didn't teach Okita. By the way, Hijikata managed to develop the standard Shinsengumi fighting style, the "Shinsengumi-Kenjutsu" (including the Hiratsuki and the fictional Gatotsu in the RK universe ) from the Tennen-Rishin Ryu, although Hijikata himself never fully mastered the Tennen Rishin-ryu. [edit] Seisōhen

I've again deleted your edit to the Rurouni Kenshin: Seisōhen article.

Please double-check the info before editing; Watsuki has NOT denounced the entire film as non-canon. (That's not quite what he said.) Please note that encyclopedic content must be verifiable by a published reliable source.Seven 17:24, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Mara Jade. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Also, please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.
