Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. ≈ jossi ≈ t@ 00:07, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. See the welcome page to learn more. Thanks. --Edcolins 07:38, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi Jossi & Ed, I hope that you will respond to me this time. I have tried to talk before, but was just ignored. I strongly disagree with the use of the terms vandalism and spam regarding my effort to add what I feel is a valuable contribution to Wikipedia. There may be a disagreement regarding the value of my contribution, but it is not vandalism or spam. I have read the vandalism page provided carefully as well as the Spam page. I am not "Adding inappropriate external links for advertisement and/or self-promotion". In accordance with Wikipedia:Counter_Vandalism_Unit "content disputes are not vandalism".

If you still feel this is vandalism or spam, please explain your reasoning. If my contributions are to be continuously removed for some other reason please explain on what grounds.

[1] is the edit that got this IP address blocked forever. You are an open proxy. Hipocrite - «Talk» 17:35, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi Hipocrite, Ilmari - I understand the ban on the use of this IP address because it is an open proxy. As an open proxy this IP address may be used by more than one individual. The above cited edit was not made by me and is not related to the contributions being discussed here. While I recognize use of an open proxy to edit Wikipedia as technically against policy, the current persecution of my contributions is exactly the reason I choose to remain anonymous. Without reassurances that the non-anonymous contribution of the same information will not be rejected equally arbitrarily and that persecution by vested contributors will not merely shift from the contribution to me as an individual, I am not inclined to alter my approach.

If there truly is an interest in having me change my actions, then I request a complete set of objective charges and a description of any supporting evidence. It should not surprise anyone that I do not wish to come forth and stand trial to charges that as yet remain indefinite and with the current air of presumed guilt on all counts.

You haven't made any changes aside from adding commercial links and a not-spellchecked entry to Jean Harlow. You need to close the open proxy that you post through. Hipocrite - «Talk» 22:07, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
