[edit] Your recent edits
Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 13:32, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Larry Craig are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. Thank you. Pairadox 14:10, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Please do not use talk pages such as Larry Craig for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article. They are not to be used as a forum or chat room. See here for more information. Thank you. Pairadox 14:17, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Who appointed you as the moderator for a *discussion page* for this wiki article?
Who sets the rules for what can be posted on a *discussion page* ?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.92.8.170 (talk • contribs)
- Policies are determined by consensus. I'm tired of seeing the page used to present opinions about Republicans, homosexuals, and whoever else any particular editor feels like complaining about. If you have suggestions on how to improve the article, feel free to contribute. If your only posts are going to be to claim a diversionary tactic, please take it someplace else. Pairadox 14:34, 2

"Policies are determined by consensus"
With regard to this craig wiki discussion page, where was the consensus? Who participated in this "consensus" about what is allowed on the discussion page? Where is the text of the consensus?
On the discussion page, asking why Craig did not plead "no contest" is an illuminating and innocent question that might lead someone to post an answer - such as an undiscovered statement by craig - which would surely qualify as being worthy of inclusion in the main wiki article.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.92.8.170 (talk • contribs)

- Please sign your comments.
- Consensus is for all article talk pages. It's happened many times over many years on many different talk pages, and been incorporated in a multitude of templates (including the two I've left for you).
- Your comments were to allege that the Bush administration is behind the revelation, if not the incident, and to ask other editors for their opinions about Craig's decisions. Even if you did get an answer, it would not be included in the article because it's Original research. Pairadox 15:09, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Windows 98 are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. I know this is late, but I thought I might as well just warn you --Astroview120mm 06:53, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
