From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm not sure if you know anything about copyright laws, but you can't simply copy and paste text from other websites into Wikipedia. Please only post material that you have written yourself. Thank you. Postdlf 22:24, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
(In response to a denial of the above posted on my talk page)
- This was about Diagnosis: Murder, which this IP posted,[1] which after the brief intro paragraph, is a word for word copy from http://www.tvtome.com/DiagnosisMurder/. Postdlf 22:44, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Ok, I see what you did... You found the original text at Diagnosis Murder and copied it over to the new title, rather than moving it, and made the original a redirect. So someone else posted copyrighted material. Sorry to have wrongly accused you—you had no reason to think that material already existing and wikified on our site was an infringement.
