Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Churches of Christ, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. AliveFreeHappy (talk) 06:31, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

I know that you believe that you are correcting an error in the article on the Churches of Christ. The problem is that the most reliable sources do not confirm your interpretation of the church's history, and at Wikipedia, information must be cited to reliable sources. I'm a former member of the Church of Christ, and I know that the information you're adding isn't the opinion even of the majority within that church, much less of scholars of religious history beyond it. Please, don't add that information again unless you can first bring to the talk page at least three reliable sources that are independent of the Churches of Christ, to confirm the information. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:18, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
