- Thanks -- any clue to which edit you are referring to, to jog my memory ? I usually provide references when making such changes, and would go back to correct that if I failed to in an edit.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Candace_of_Meroë, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Enric Naval (talk) 20:51, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- You say that you are removing an unsourced paragraph[1], but on the middle of the paragraph there was a reference to a book called "Historical Atlas" (altought it was not very visible). You also added a source for the new version, but the source didn't even mention Candace (or, at least, I couldn't find any mention of her), let alone support the changes. While it looks like a good faith mistake, it happened to come at a most unfortunate moment, which made me warn editors at that page of posible POV problems. See details here. Please take more care with sources from now on. --Enric Naval (talk) 20:51, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
There are many references that can be cited about the issue and a balanced presentation needs to be provided. Most of what was removed seemed to be the personal opinion of the editor (POV) and subject to removal as unsourced. Hope that the interest in this topic provides some progress on a better article and those related to it. This type of interest usually builds a better article -- eventually.
