This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Broadband TV, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Bearly541 14:50, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thanks. [edit] January 2007
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Party service. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. Since Wikipedia uses Nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. -SpuriousQ 17:13, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] your edit to light emitting diode
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to light emitting diode. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses Nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
[edit] Spam links
This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia at all. The links you have been adding are all to magazines owned by Prism Business Media. -SpuriousQ 17:36, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your edit to light emitting diode
This is your only warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to light emitting diode, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia and other sites that use the MediaWiki spam blacklist at all. --Dirk Beetstra T C 18:13, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. The repeated spam-linking from this IP address has prompted me to block you. --Deathphoenix ʕ 18:31, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] whois 65.166.218.250
- Location: United States [City: Overland Park, Kansas]
- PRISM Business Media Inc. SPRINTLINK (NET-65-166-218-0-1)
- 65.166.218.0 - 65.166.219.255
So the whois query reports an owner of "PRISM Business Media Inc." which is Penton Media. The previous Prism domain and user info lists have been moved to Talk:Penton_Media which is a more appropriate central and location. By going through the contribution log I count 53 external spam link additions for the 65.166.218.250 wiki user. (Requestion 19:54, 17 February 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Your Work magazine article is likely to get speedily deleted as spam
A tag has been placed on Work magazine, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. A. B. (talk) 05:20, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
