[edit] Spamming

Please do not add commercial links — or links to your own private websites — to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. -- GraemeL (talk) 23:08, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. -- Rhobite 20:20, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Yamla 00:01, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

You have been blocked in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating policy against link spamming. To contest this block, please reply here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock}} along with the reason you believe the block is unjustified, or email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list.

Note to sysops: Unblocking yourself should almost never be done. If you disagree with the block, contact another administrator.

[edit] Re: Gnarls Barkley Discography

The Music Video section will probably end up with the exact same list as the Singles section, therefore it is redundant. Also, there is already a section about the video in the song article and a link to the video in the External links section. And you really shouldn't replace links to other Wikipedia articles with links to external sites. --Fritz S. (Talk) 17:40, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. The links you added to the page E-40 have been removed. Please do not add commercial links—or links to your own private websites—to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Λυδαcιτγ(TheJabberwock) 21:50, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for experimenting with the page Chingy on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. ^demon[yell at me][ubx_war_sux] /15:42, 20 June 2006 (UTC) 15:42, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WiiTube

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Surf's Up (video game). Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. Dancter 21:52, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
