[edit] Noteworthy Incidents
The Hugo Awards ceremony on August 26, 2006, was marred when host Harlan Ellison groped Connie Willis' breast while on stage, an incident caught on film. A firestorm on comment erupted on science fiction message boards and blogs relating to sexism in science fiction. [1] [2]
