[edit] Spamming

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. The links you added to the page Jennifer Love Hewitt have been removed. Please do not add commercial links—or links to your own private websites—to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. --Yamla 23:51, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. --Yamla 23:52, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of warnings

Do not remove warnings from other peoples talk pages. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 12:35, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- GraemeL (talk) 17:17, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Coming from someone who currently has this IP address, I do not believe blocking this IP address will solve the problem, as this IP address is being shared by more than one person inside a network. --64.236.128.14 20:21, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

You are free to create an account if you have a fear of being blocked. --Liface 00:34, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
From the number of junk links to AOL, it appears users on this IP may be somehow affilliated with, or compensated by, AOL (paid or volunteer staff, etc)?? and not just random AOL subscribers. Wikipedia is not a link directory to AOL picture galleries and multimedia. Removed several like the JLH one referenced above, but there are a lot more.... 68.115.57.158 02:20, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 1 July

Please stop adding commercial links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks.

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thanks. Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to George Felix Allen. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. NawlinWiki 20:48, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to User:NawlinWiki, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and other deliberate attempts to disrupt Wikipedia are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. --Chris (talk) 21:02, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

This is a dynamic IP address from AOL -- blocking it will have no effect on the actual vandal since each addy is used by multiple people, and changes every several minutes. Similarly, any comments left might get the "You have a new message" template that would confuse someone trying to look up something with Wikipedia. (This is the current holder of the IP address -- if it hasn't changed in the few minutes it took me to write this).

Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:57, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Xbox 360 games without region encoding

There are two ways to deal with this. You could try at Wikipedia:Deletion review or get your own free webspace and host it there. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 02:10, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
