Hi. Please do a Google search on the history of Parkdale, preferably a search which includes the word 'Dufferin'. You'll find multiple sources which explain the original eastern boundary of Parkdale was Dufferin Street. I'm going to restore the use of Gallery District in the article now, because this term is accurate to current usage. I live just north of Queen in the Gallery District, and I lived for five years in Parkdale in the 1990s.

Oh, and if you still feel after your research that the 'Parkdale East' term is more accurate, please discuss this on the Talk page of the Queen West article instead of just changing the article back, okay? Cheers, Madmagic 08:32, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

Living in the Queen and Ossington area for some time now, I have never heard anybody refer to the area as 'the gallery district'. It's considered by most people to be the eastern hub of Parkdale (with Parkdale proper being west of the rail tracks). Where in the world are you getting The Gallery District from? There are lots of neighbourhoods in Toronto with plenty of galleries. 'The Gallery District' is not accurate at all. The neighbourhood has always been refered to as either Parkdale or Parkdale East.
