Really, you'll be looked upon much more favorably in deletion debates if you're a registered user. As it is, there'll be heavy suspicion that you're a sock puppet, that you're a vandal, that you're some fly-by-nighter who's just popped in to tinker briefly with entries without any concern for the long-term effects. If you're registered, you'll be easier to recognize, and you'll develop a positive reputation. It's clear, from the list of contributions from your IP, that you genuinely want to make a positive difference, but not everyone will bother to read the list of contributions. So... I recommend registering. Okay?

Looking forward to hearing from you as a registered user. DS 13:22, 1 October 2005 (UTC)

A very important reason to be a registered user is that then you can change the names of articles without destroying their history. At the moment, every time you change an article name by cutting and pasting, its history gets destroyed. Someone examining the history will think you wrote the article, whereas actually you merely pasted it into the new name. If you don't want to register, then PLEASE ask a registered user to change the article name for you. See Wikipedia:Requested moves. --Angr/tɔk tə mi 15:39, 2 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Warnings

When using template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template.

[edit] October 2005

  • Regarding Talk:Y'all, please don't unilaterally blank talk pages. // Pathoschild 03:45, 2 October 2005 (UTC)
    • PLEASE STOP making new articles out of sections of articles without first seeking some consensus. English-language vowel changes before historic r is not too long. If you get a message saying something like "This page is 40 kb large, that may be too long" or the like, then the page is too long. Moreover "tory-torrent merger" is not an established name for the merger in question; you can't make up your own names for things in an encyclopedia. --Angr/tɔk tə mi 04:42, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
      • By the way, I'll assume that your placing of the {{nonsense}} tag on Nonsense was a mistake instead of vandalism. DS 14:29, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
      • This page has been formatted for improved functionality (formatting guide). // Pathoschild 17:11, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

You have been blocked for fourty-eight hours for sockpuppetting, violations of the Three-Revert rule, reversion and vandalism of multiple pages, creating articles on trivial subjects and adding useless knowledge. Any furthur vandalism and disruption will result in a more perminant block. To contest this block, e-mail me, or write your rationale on this talk page. Thank you, [[User:Mysekurity|Mysekurity]] [[additions | e-mail]] 12:10, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
