[edit] Soccer stadiums

Please, if you insist on bulk-adding soccer stadium articles, follow the correct format. Have a look at Estadio Pensativo as it stands now, and copy this layout for each article. The importance notice is saying that these short stubs aren't notable enough for Wikipedia (especially grounds for 2nd Div. Guatemalan teams), and if they aren't improved I will list them for deletion for lack of notability. Thanks. Harro5 July 1, 2005 23:42 (UTC)

[edit] Aphra Behn (NOT a vandalism warning)

Crossposted from Talk:Aphra Behn
Hi, user who wrote a message on Talk:Aphra Behn, if you see this, I have two points that might interest you.

  1. I see there are a lot af vandalism warnings on this page. That probably means you're using a rapidly shifting dynamic IP, because you don't sound like a vandal to me. Please note that if you create an account (see top right-hand corner), which only takes a few seconds to do, you will get a talkpage of your own, with no messages directed to other people on it, and it will be much easier for you to communicate.
  2. Do please click on this link to Oroonoko, it's a Featured article (=identified as one of Wikipedia's best), written by one of our 18th-century specialists (User:Geogre), and much superior to the Aphra Behn article. Best wishes, Bishonen | talk 22:27, 20 November 2005 (UTC).

! Attention: You have returned to vandalising Wikipedia after being blocked from editing either once or more times. This is your last warning. The next time you vandalise a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia, for a possible extended period of time. FireFox 17:41, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Talk:American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers; Talk:Syleena Johnson; Talk:Lionel Richie; Talk:Marilyn Bergman

Please do not continue to persist in creating false and fictitious identities to perpetuate your defamatory attacks and postings. Creating different accounts will not mask your singular identity. Also, do not claim affiliation with organizations falsely nor use their namesake to perpetuate false claims.

Be careful: An important message - PLEASE READ
Please be extremely careful when adding in information that it does not involve defamation (if you don't know what defamation is, read this). Comments that defame an individual may leave you open to being sued by them. Your status here, whether as a signed on user or as an anonymous IP, would not protect you. Someone you defame could get a court order instructing your server to supply your details to them. They could then sue you for damages. Remember, while Section 230 of the United States Communications Decency Act protects Wikipedia from being sued for defamation, it may not protect the person who posted any defamation on a Wikipedia page.

Furthermore the Board of Wikipedia has ruled that Where the user has been vandalising articles or persistently behaving in a disruptive way, [personal information] data may be released to assist in the targeting of IP blocks, or to assist in the formulation of a complaint to relevant Internet Service Providers. (Full information on Wikipedia privacy policy here)

This box has been placed on your talk page because another Wikipedian suspects that, perhaps innocently, you may have defamed someone in your contributions. Please recheck your edits. Do not make allegations against someone unless you have verifiable, independently-sourced evidence. Don't rely on hear-say, rumours, or things you believe without proof to be facts. Wikipedia requires sources for all claims.

If you have defamed someone, you may be blocked without warning from editing Wikipedia. If you find that you have inadvertently defamed someone in an article, do two things:
1. Remove the defamation from the article immediately.
2. Hit this link and leave a note on that page saying that you accidentially left defamatory claims in named article. (Don't repeat the claims. They will be able to see from your edit removing them what they were.) A developer will then delete the claim from the page history

Once that is done, and the defamation is gone completely from our records, the problem should be solved.

This is your last warning. If you continue to make personal attacks, you may be blocked for disruption.

You have repeatedly been warned to stop your vandalism of articles on Wikipedia when you came here using other IPs. Please stop. You are welcome to contribute real edits to Wikipedia but all vandalism done by you will be reverted and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia if you continue.

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. RexNL 16:01, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Blocked
You have been blocked for vandalism for 72 hours. To contest this block, add the text {{unblock}} on this page, along with an explanation of why you believe this block to be unjustified. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

Please do not erase warnings on this page. Doing so is also considered vandalism.

You have recently vandalized a Wikipedia article, and you are now being asked to stop this type of behavior. You're welcome to continue editing Wikipedia, so long as these edits are constructive. Please see Wikipedia's Blocking policy and what constitutes vandalism; such actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and are not taken lightly.

We hope that you will become a legitimate editor and create an account. Again, you are welcome here at Wikipedia, but remember not to vandalize or you will soon be blocked from editing.

Warning: Please do not add obscenities to Wikipedia. Injecting unnecessary swear words, racially or sexually abusive comments, or provocative pictures to articles or user pages offends many people. Wikipedia treats such actions as vandalism and blocks people from editing for such repeated vandalism. --Winter 17:51, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
