Thanks for your edits in the Agatha Christie section. However, although your comments are wanted and appreciated, you should note that they belong in the talk pages (also tabbed as "discussion" at the top), not in the articles themselves. Editing articles for corrections is excellent; criticizing the article from within the article itself is counterproductive when one could simply make the corrections or discuss the matter in the talk page if the issue is not cut and dry. Thanks! Girolamo Savonarola 00:29, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

The trouble is, I did just that - I removed the extra T at the end of Colonel Arbuthnot's name, since I have the book in front of me and it's spelled that way. Some numbnut who decided s/he knew better put it back.

That's the "beauty" of Wikipedia, I guess.

You can either edit constructively within the editing policy - which is to make corrections to the article, not point out the errors - or not. However, if you continue to disregard these options and simply make sniping remarks about the article on the article's own page, it will be regarded as vandalism. Please either edit constructively within the project guidelines or make suggestions within the talk pages as to what is incorrect; the article pages themselves are not the proper place, and you have been told this before. I'm asking you to do this yourself as it would be a shame for you to be banned for disruptive behavior when you do have information that can be used. Please be constructive and work with us. Also, please consider creating a user name. Thanks again, Girolamo Savonarola 02:27, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

In other words, dearheart, you're more concerned with your delicate feelings than with accuracy. I have given you several citations, from the primary sources (namely, the books themselves) proving that the information on your pages is incorrect. There's nothing stopping you from making the changes, either--so why aren't you?

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

[edit] Short block

I've blocked you for "disruption/inappropriate use of article space" as you have been warned not to insert comments into the article. They should go on the talk page, along with constructive comments as to how to improve the article. Also some of your edits that insert links to another website could be considered spam. I suggest you take this time off editing to take a look at Help:Contents/Policies, conventions and guidelines. Petros471 09:25, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
