[edit] Prince of Wales's (or whoever's) feathers
First, it is commendable that you are trying to make Wikipedia more accurate and are looking for reliable sources. I suggest that if you feel you have that, that you should go ahead and make your edits. Someone may revert them; if that person starts a discussion on the talk page, join the discussion. If they do not, start one. I don't think it would be fair to make someone try to wade through the one we had. I also have some more general suggestions and concerns:
Why do you keep capitalizing the "s" in "Princes"? We are all intelligent enough to pick up on the fact that you are using the plural form with out that very distracting usage. Second, you really need to be more succinct. Your arguments tend to be wordy and crammed into large blocks of text. It is okay to break up a paragraph into two smaller paragraphs even if it is for merely aesthetic reasons.
Also, be ready for the fact that articles touching on the monarchy in anyway tend to attract a lot of attention from very picky editors. For that reason it is important for you to make your arguments more approachable and to stop pouncing on minor inaccuracies when they do not bear on the argument. It comes across as a petty way of trying to discredit the contributions of other editors or the editors themselves. For instance, your argument about whether York is "superior" to Cornwall was irrelevant to your point about the feathers and did nothing weaken the other editor or his contributions, but made you look like all you are really looking to do is fight.
Finally, register with Wikipedia. Rightly or wrongly, editors take registered users more seriously than anonymous IP users. -Rrius (talk) 04:05, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Good luck!
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
