63 Seaworld is the first public aquarium built in South Korea. Every year, the aquarium is visited by 100,000 tourists from all over the world.

Opened in 1985 and every year effort is used to improve the aquarium. In 1990, Harbor sealion show was opened and it is still showing which is the only Harbor sealion show among aquariums all over the world.

63 Seaworld is located in the basement of 63 Building, Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea. The 63 Building used to be the tallest building in South Korea for many years but yet it still remains as the icon of Seoul.

63 Seaworld is currently showing 400 different species and that is more than 20,000 animals. Including King penguin, Jackass penguin, Pirarucu, Piranha, Oriental Small-clawed Otter, Harbor Seal, Sealion, and more.

About 60 aqua tanks are currently exhibiting and 3 of them are considered the main attractions.

[edit] Migratory Tank

It is track shape tank containing 300 tons of water. The tank contains migratory species that are constantly revolving the tank.

[edit] Harbol Seal

There are 4 Harbol Seals and 2 of them are playing show 4 times a day. Quite similar to the Sealion show from many other aquariums.

A South American Sea Lion and a California Sea Lion are playing show 3 times a day. The show is like a musical where most of the performance is done by trainers.
