[edit] Nathan Tyree

Edit summary: Neither book was self published. Editor needs to see Wiki article on self publishing

Reality check: guy, PublishAmerica is not only a vanity press (aka a vehicle for self-publishing), it's a vanity press with a bad reputation among vanity presses. --Calton | Talk 14:34, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

okay. I actually wasn't arguing that. I don't see the guy as notable due to the novels, but instead due to his publications in anthologies, magazines and e-zines. I think that he is certainly notable. At least, as notable as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenji_Siratori who has a wiki article... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.76.154.130 (talk) 14:42, August 21, 2007 (UTC)

For the latter argument, see WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS, debunking an argument so hackneyed that its response gets its own shortcut. As for I actually wasn't arguing that, you're saying you're not arguing what you were arguing? That makes no sense.
Looking at your contributions, I'm sensing a promotional walled garden here, an attempt to use Wikipedia for self-promotion. What's your connection with these people? --Calton | Talk 14:49, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Didn't know that- the other things exists thing.

No connection other than being a fan. People? I edit lots of articles: storm chasing, once upon a time in the west, jim moginie, tons of stuff I don't remember.

Anyway, though. I thought the article was saveable and was willing to do a little work to do that. But, it's been more time than it is worth, so nevermind. I'm done. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.76.154.130 (talk) 15:03, August 21, 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 14:54, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
