Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Tra (Talk) 23:18, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:AIV report

Hello – thanks for the message. At first I blocked the editor at the IP address, but after more examination I unblocked him. I did this because:

  • the last edit was on October 17, more than four days ago
  • the last warning about vandalism was September 19, almost a month ago
  • I cannot tell if his October 17 at Eagle Mountain, Utah are vandalism or the removal of unsourced material. I am reluctant to block an editor when I don't know much about the subject or discussion.

I suggest you engage this editor in discussion at Talk:Eagle Mountain, Utah to work out the differences. The 'Politics' section of the article is absolutely ridiculous, especially for a town with less than 2,500 residents.

Thanks for your report to WP:AIV. KrakatoaKatie 04:28, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
