[edit] Modifying redirects
Details on how to make one page automatically redirect to another is at WP:Redirect - at its simplest you create a page (from which you want to redirect) with : #Redirect [[Name of page to redirect to]] as its only text. You can see this on the pages you referred to - click on Robbers' Cave Experiment and you automatically end up at Muzafer Sherif, but at the top it states :
-
- (Redirected from Robbers Cave Experiment).
You might be wondering what to do if you accidentally create a redirect to the wrong page - how do you edit it? In this case you simply click back through the redirect - so whilst on Muzafer Sherif you would click on the link at the top of the page to take you back to Robbers Cave Experiment, then edit the page in the normal way.
I agree that it may seem odd to leave the "wrong" redirect page in place, but it covers all the bases - it's not as though those pages are likely to be needed for entries of their own at any stage in the future - as an example, if "Giles" redirected to "Bennett", then it probably wouldn't be appropriate to also redirect "Piles" to "Bennett", as "Piles" would probably need a page of its own as its own stand-alone entry. Robbers Cave Experiement, however, is pretty specific and unlikely to be needed for anything else.
Hope that helps, but feel free to leave a message for me on my talk page if I can help further. Incidentally, it's helpful if you could sign your comments on talk pages by typing four tildes (~) at the end of the comment - I've got the wiki to leave the standard message about this after this entry on your talk page. - Thanks much, that teaches me to fish.
- My mistake not signing — I forgot to sign that time (though normally I do). I went back and signed the entry, but I think that means the date/time is now wrong. — 63.249.110.32 17:28, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

- Don't worry about it too much - the page history shows the times of all changes anyway. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 17:34, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Signing comments
Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 08:44, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for pointing that out - I'd never noticed. Fixed now! Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 10:21, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
