[edit] Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 63.241.158.225). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.

Please note these points:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the page Jeff Varner on Wikipedia! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, welcome, and I hope that you will like Wikipedia. // Pilotguy (Cleared to land) 23:58, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Atlanta, Georgia, even if your ultimate intention is to revert them. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Accurizer 02:05, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

You have added information to this article about Heather Russell. Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living people requires that reliable and verifiable sources be provided to establish notability to the Wikipedia:Notability standard. No sources were provided for this individual, and a search of Google News and Google News Archive did not find any sources. If you have books, newspaper or magazine articles establishing this individual's notability AND her connection to Edison, I will be more than happy to assist you in adding this information. If the required sources are not added, the information will be removed. Alansohn 17:59, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 19:47, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Template:New England Patriots roster, you will be blocked from editing. Pats1 T/C 19:45, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
