[edit] Regarding Anberlin

I left this message on the talk page for the user you provided in your last post on my talk page, but seeing as you posted without signing in I'm also leaving this message here just to be safe.

It was decided by a collaboration of editors that Anberlin should be listed as Alternative Rock and Christian Rock. You can view the entire discussion by going to Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Anberlin and Wikipedia talk:Requests for mediation/Anberlin. Please realize that I am not reverting your edits because of some personal vendetta that I have against you or certain musical genres, but because of a concensus that was reached among several Wikipedia editors.

Also, while I own you no explanation for my personal beliefs and decisions, I suppose I'll attempt to do so. First of all, don't judge me (I believe the bible has something to say about that... "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." John 8:7 NIV). I am well aware that many people and doctrines do not approve of or support homosexuality, which is part of the reason that I claim no denominational affiliation. Also, God does love everyone. What he doesn't love is sin. The bible says that homosexual prostitution, homosexual promiscuity, and homosexual rape are sins, and the same goes for heterosexuals doing the same thing. The bible does not say that simply finding someone of the same sex attractive justifies a one-way ticket to hell. It's no different than a heterosexual man looking at a woman and thinking that she's pretty. I am not living a promiscuous sex life, and at the moment I intend to remain celibate for the rest of my days. I'm not asking you to agree with me, but please do not badger and berate me. Wikipedia is not the place for this. —Mears man 13:59, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
