Hey Angel,

I was having to reedit information some person name SOX has gotten wrong. He is complete out of touch with the Global Aero Logistics Post he has done and it is a huge disservice to the public. Also his editing seems to lack crispness and clarity in format.

Regards to Conga.. I am sure Conga does nice work too. P.S. I am glad people are taking interest in making this as clear as possible. Many need to go back and read about Texas Air Holding Company of Continental under Frank Lorenzo for an update. This Sox person....seems to be way too young to recall this.

Have a good day. 63.215

[edit] Global Aero Logistics

63.215.26.148 -

I have moved logos out of infobox (looks VERY SLOPPY) -- correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't 16 + 6 = 22 destinations? -- NA & NAO are North American Airlines' correct codes -- Go Easy. Go ATA is only ATA's slogan... not North American's or World's... -- Focus Cities should be in correct format per other airline sites (meaning AIRPORT NAME and NOT CITY NAME) -- ATA FlightBank is a REWARDS PROGAM not a frequent flyer program -- DO NOT WIDEN THE FLEET TABLES TO YOUR SPECIFICATION (they are standard for a reason) and DO NOT delete the destinations from the article!

Also if you have a problem take it up with me and don't pussy around and ask other people! I am not a disservice to the public (you're mistaking me with YOURSELF) and I don't believe my edits lack "crispness and clarity" (yours do!) Sox23 01:39, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Sox,

try to reply to someone who cares and have a nice day.

Your nomination at Articles for Creation was a success, and List of Airline Holding Companies was created. [edit] List of Airline Holding Companies

This does not need to be added to every article as a section. It is sufficient for it to be in the category. Vegaswikian 05:17, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Airline Holding Companies Navbox

It seems that you are attempting to create a Navbox and place it on several articles. A better way to accomplish this is to create a navigational template first, then include the template on each article. This allows for less information to be stored for each article, and also, if the nav box needs to be changed, it doesn't need to be changed on each article, only the template. Please read up on navigational template so that you fully understand how they work, how to create them, and how to use them. Thank you. --Pilotboi / talk / contribs 20:24, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What go! is

I am quite aware that go! is not a fully independent airline, but rather an operating brand of Mesa Airlines. However, neither is Northwest Airlink or Delta Connection or United Express or Continental Express or New Mexico Airlines. Furthermore, go! calls itself an airline. The only difference between go! and, say, SkyValue is that Mesa owns both the brand and operates the airplanes, while SkyValue contracted with another company (Xtra Airways) to operate its flights. -- Hawaiian717 21:40, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes many people seem to think these are airlines too, which is an awful shame. That is why I have been trying to get the word out that they are not in small gradual increments. It has got to start somewhere you know.

that is another reason I have been pointing out the pseudo airline holding companies that have come into popularity and exsistence lately.

[edit] Airline Marketing Subbrands navbox

I'm removing the airline marketing subbrands navbox that you were adding to pages today. It doesn't work right, and needs to be a template rather than included directly on each article. However, it's redundant to Category:Airline Marketing Sub-Brands so I don't feel a template is necessary. -- Hawaiian717 23:31, 19 September

works for me for I could not figure out how to make airline marketing sub brands work correctly anyway.... thanks and a okay. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.215.26.148 (talkcontribs) 16:39, 19 September 2007

Take a look at how I've reworked things a bit. I've created the category properly, making it a subcategory of Category:Brands and Category:Airline terminology. I've also removed your attempts to categorize the articles under Category:Brands with things like [[Category:brands|airline|transportation]] since that wasn't doing much useful. Oh, and sign your posts on talk pages by ending your comments with ~~~~. :) -- Hawaiian717 23:47, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Regional Airliner

Hello

I'm changing the link for Regional_jet#Short_haul_civilian_.22mini_airliners.22_.28circa_the_1978_free_enterprise_liberalization_and_.22RJ.22_revolution.29 to simply Regional jet. Our Manual of Style has guidelines to follow that help make our encyclopedia easy and familiar to use. Cheers E_dog95 Hi 03:40, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Hey not a problem ....just someone had created a list of regional airliners and in reality that concept did not really come into common usage until well into the late 1970's.

Prior to then regional sized airliners were considered to be airliners or occasionally "mini airliners" and was trying make sure the younger generation did not just call any airplane with propellers a regional airliner!63.215.26.146 (talk) 21:45, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Airlines

Ok, I saw you added the list of boxes to the airlines article which was a redirect since 2002. For starters the reason that article is a redirect is because the article airline already exists. We dont keep two versions of the same article one plural and one singular, we only keep the singular form. Second, as I said on the Article for creation page, we cant keep lists of boxes... boxes are part of wikipedia they're not a notable subject to be discussed in articles.. It is for this same reason that we also dont keep lists of aritcles.. for instance you wont find a List of wikipedia pages about planes article. I know it makes browsing easier but you have to keep in mind that wikipedia is not a search directory. You can go to the List of airlines talk page and propose a better sorting method there, but you cant posts that list at airlines, also please dont post it at list of airlines directly, discuss on the talk page first. Thanks RIP-Acer (talk) 21:27, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Airline holding comapnies navigation box

I've removed your second attempt at an airline holding companies navigation box from Trans World Corporation. For one, something like this should be a template, not built within the article page. Second, we already have Category:Airline holding companies which effectively does the same thing. Please join the discussion about this template at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Airlines#Regional and Mainline Airline Holding Companies of the United States before attempting to recreate this again. -- Hawaiian717 (talk) 06:18, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] George Mikelsons

Hi,

I couldn't help but notice your kind edit summary thought about George and Muriel. For those of us who know them personally and did business with ATA over the years and all the great folks there, this is a sad day indeed. JGHowes talk - 19:42, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
