From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- Create an account so that others will recognize you as you contribute.
- Once you are registered, add your name to the new user log to let others know a little about yourself.
- Read the article describing how to edit a page and feel free to experiment in the Sandbox.
- When editing pages, use the preview button before submitting and try to fill in the summary box for every edit.
- Eventually, read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!
Jrdioko
P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Michael Savage (commentator). It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Gdo01 06:35, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 3 Revert Rule (3RR)
Regarding your edits to the Michael Savage (commentator) article: Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.--WilliamThweatt 21:24, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] October 2006 edits

[edit] November 2006
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. [edit] Baptist and others
You are making quite a number of changes - quite a number - and you might want to reconsider the range of such. And, pardon me for saying so, but I have to wonder how carefully you are editing. Perhaps I am wrong, but changing "is an ordinance" to "is a ordinance" sure nuff reads wrong to me. And I'll bet that there is no word "movmenet". And "it's" the wrong way to spell its meaning. "It's" the right way to spell "it is". And so many others. "propoganda"?
And at least one person recently has reverted a large number of your changes with the tag "POV", which means point-of-view, as in you might be advancing your own viewpoint to the point of damaging the article. And other articles, as I look now. Your very first edit was to rewrite the lead paragraph, cutting its length in half? Please think about slowing down and more carefully choosing through your changes.
At a minimum please consider this - I started out tonight wanting to know more about Baptists, and instead I got distracted into knowing more about you. Isn't that the bad result of a damaged article? Shenme 03:15, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Undiscussed large scale edits
These are not acceptable and do not have consensus. They will continue to be reverted. HokieRNB 14:26, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- I warned you that your undiscussed edits would be reverted. I have opened up a three-revert rule complaint on the administrator's noticeboard. If you continue in your edit war, your IP address will be blocked from editing. Please stop. HokieRNB 04:15, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add unhelpful and non-constructive information to Wikipedia, as you did to Underground Railroad. Your edits could be considered vandalism, and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz | Talk 04:08, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Baptist edits
I have reverted a few of the edits that you made to the article because they introduced unnecessarily non-neutral perspectives. Please sign in with your account to make future edits. Thank you. HokieRNB 19:11, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
