Edward Eways is the only person in the Port Chester community to win the community service award twice. That is the highest award you can win in that community. WP:BIO is the Wikipedia policy regarding notability of people. That is the policy under which people who hold Guinness World Records are considered notable. Read the policy. Our group which is at about 63 members,are not attacking any person but to exclude a community figure like Edward Eways who we have followed for about 6 years is crazy. This guy has made history in the Port Chester community. He has created programs that have inspired the whole school district Dear Olrady and Rod. Are group will halt Ed Eways comments for now. We are looking into articles

Dear Rod I am also a fan of Edward Eways and his fundraisers and youth programs. I would to also know if there is a way to have metioned? He is a big name in our community known for making a difference and creating excitment for our village. To be honest I use to think when he was coming up that Eways was just a showman but after 10 years of making headlines and inspiring people I knew he was the real article. Associate of library. I am another person that has been reading this debate about Ed Eways, Funny on all these computer at this library and we all don't no one another. Anyway I remember going to one of his events I think it was for the Red Cross. It was a basketball game that Ed Eways played in. I looked at this guy and they he toyed with the media and control the game so it was aimed to promote the bigger cause not just make it a sporting event. Strong determination in his eye's to really try to make an impact in people's lives and promote the community. Ed Eways is like the local boy makes good. At least they promoted him that way. Now he is like a public figure and entertainer. I was impressed with him because he promotes big causes and is very creative. Has alot of nerve and persistance to get things done on a big stage.. Edward Eways in my mind is notable has done enough to have his place here...Womans group I remember Edward Eways in those days were he was having big events and fundraisers. He was and still is very talented as was his father. The senior was very involved and known in his community. Strong people skills and a special connection to young people. The son has alot of the same talents. Edward Eways comes from talent and has givin alot of himself to his hometown. Notable in every way... Edward Eways might have brought flair to his community but what he did was bring the sense of belief in yourself. Eways was a perfect role model for the youth. Local guy that did things in the school and town that alot of people thought was not possible. Port Chester needs that type of energy again. Edward Eways went on to other things. Sometimes he will speak in public or do a project but when he was engaged in all these events wow it was great. Really brought a good feeling for are town. There will only be one Edward Eways SR and one Edward Eways JR. These guys were Port Chester. I am glad that the schools continue to show Eways work and events. I hope that there will be other people such getting involved this way. I know we will not have another Ed Eways always hard to duplicate the orginal. I do hope that someone will step up. Our Mayor used Eways model at the capital theater this year and Edward Eways and another young role model that Eways introduced to the public Mathew Varhgese spoke at the program and they were great. Alot of energy. Edward Eways is notable and a community legend!!! PC schools..
