Prusias I of Bithynia was the king of Bithynia? Who would have thunk it given the name! Please don't create stubs that have no more information in them that is already in the title. --mav 21:02, 13 Oct 2003 (UTC)
Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks.
Why the initial ridicule? I did it with the best of intentions when I found out that an article on that subject didn't exist! Just tell people the rule(s) they have broken without patronizing them! Otherwise you end up discouraging some of them from further attempts. And is boosting your own ego really worth that?
- Hello. Other users are trying to guide you to pages where you can try out new ideas and learn about Wikipedia. If your first tests are removed do not lose heart. We recognize that you are learning and are not chastising you but merely removing your tests. Please contact me with any questions. - Tεxτurε 17:41, 1 Oct 2004 (UTC)
It wasn't intended as a test and I don't really have any questions (thanks anyway!). What I resent isn't that my contribution was removed or that "other users" are trying to teach me the correct way of doing things - it is that Maverick used ridicule as a 'teaching tool'. I am open to lectures but I do not like to be patronized when I try to help out.
