User talk:62.255.64.5
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Please Note:
62.255.64.5 is one of the small family of IP addresses allocated to all NTL broadband clients in the UK. These IP numbers cover approximately one million British broadband subscribers. If you are here to counter serious vandalism by an NTL user, please consider taking the following step instead of blocking: visit the NTL abuse reporting form [1] and take two minutes to detail the problem. I would volunteer to do it for you, but NTL only maintain logs for 48 hours, so time is of the essence if vandals are to be identified and requested to desist. Thanks for your attention to this note. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Infrogmation 20:10, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Hi, since you’ve been warned four times already, and since you vandalized again [2] today, you have been blocked for 48 hours, you now have an opportunity to reform. However, if you continue vandalizing, you shall be blocked for a longer period of time. GeneralPatton 01:51, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Unfortunately, this is a dynamic address used by NTL, one of the biggest ISPs in the U.K., and consequently it should not be blocked for longer than the short-term. -- Arwel 00:03, 20 Dec 2004 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
