This talk page is actively monitored by Dr Challoner's Grammar School IT Support. Reports of vandalism from this IP address are encouraged and will be followed up. The list of contributions from this IP address is also checked periodically.
[edit] School procedure for dealing with vandalism
This outline is provided both for reporters of vandalism, and those who might commit it, as a show of commitment by the school that this behaviour is not tolerated. Incidents of vandalism by students are always considered on a case-by-case basis according to their severity, however, instances of vandalism involving profanity or personal attacks by lower school students (ages 11-16) are normally passed with supporting evidence to the school's Student Development Office, a dedicated team whose roles include acting as a central point for student discipline.
Instances of vandalism involving personal attacks by Sixth Form students (ages 17-18) are normally passed with supporting evidence to the Head of the Sixth Form for disciplinary action.

[edit] Support for blocks
IT Support continues to fully support long-term blocks on anonymous editing from our site in conjunction with our efforts to discipline users who vandalise Wikipedia. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any queries or comments. Jay Schlackman (talk) 09:00, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] School proxy implementation
Note to admins — the school currently operates 2 proxy servers; the other resides at 62.255.252.76. Outgoing internet access is load balanced between these two servers using Round robin DNS, and so any ban put in place should be applied to both IP addresses for it to be effective. Jay Schlackman 08:38, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Other users
Dr Challoner's Grammar School also provides IT services for other schools in the surrounding area, including some network infrastructure services. At present, The Beacon School in Chesham Bois shares the Challoners outgoing proxy servers, and so edits from users at that school may appear to come from this IP.

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
