- Oh, and by the way, it seems you've gotten with the flow, but remember to elaborate on abbreviations such as CVO and GCMG; instead of "he was appointed GCMG on 1 January 1900", you could probably say something like "he was appointed [[Order of St Michael and St George|Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George]] on 1 January..."
