[edit] Welcome== ==Welcome!
Welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and gives you many benefits, including:
- The use of a username of your choice, provided that it is appropriate.
- The use of your own personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you.
- The ability to start new pages.
- The ability to rename pages.
- The ability to edit semi-protected pages.
- The ability to upload images.
- The ability to customize the appearance and behavior of the website.
- The eligibility to eventually become an administrator.
- Your IP address will no longer be visible to other users.
We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have on my talk page. By the way, make sure to sign your posts and comments with four tildes (~~~~), which will let others know who left it. Fabricationary 06:07, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] August 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did to User:Fioproduct, makes it harder to read. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Do not put CSD tags on people's user pages. Trusilver 05:55, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
- A passing aquaintance with WP:CIVIL would to you well. It's inappropriate to tag a user page for speedy deletion. Trusilver 06:04, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I deleted your comment after reading about the first sentence. I don't know what your particular issue is, but I have little inclination to read your passive-aggressive obnoxious comments. You are more than welcome to try again if you communicate in a civil tone. However, if you cannot I'm afraid that's entirely your issue to contend with.
I'm glad you do what you do even if we disagree with the deletion of user space pages, but if you feel the need to continue with WP:CIVIL issues, then I will view any further comments as personal attacks and treat them as such. Have a good day! Trusilver 07:46, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: User talk:Trusilver. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Trusilver 14:12, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

- I am not attacking your message or your actions, I'm attacking your attitude. I am completely open to discussion with you. However, if you insist on being abusive and insulting, we will go down this path. Trusilver 06:08, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your RfA comment

[edit] RfA
Dear editor, I noticed your comment on Trusilver's RfA, and I've also looked into your contribution history. From my limited perusal, you are truly trying to help Wikipedia, I notice you're good about reverting vandalism you find, and I'd like to suggest that as you have positive things to contribute, and opinions, you think about creating an account. For one thing, it would allow your voice to be counted in issues like RfA votes. As it currently stands:
Expressing opinions: Any Wikipedian with an account is welcome to comment in the Support, Oppose and Neutral sections.
Therefore, your comments may not be taken into account, and that may be the reason they were removed, as you are considered "anonymous" by virtue of your editing without a registered username. This is by no means a bad thing, there are a great number of IP editors who have helped Wikipedia, but when it comes to things such as discussing articles for deletion, or voting on actions, having a username offers significant advantages. Obviously, this is entirely your choice, but I just thought I would take the liberty of explaining the reasoning to you. My most sincere apologies in advance if this offends you, as I do understand some user's simply have no desire to create a username. Sincerely, Ariel♥Gold 04:28, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- I do understand what you're saying, but the fact is, the way the RfA policy works, as an "IP" editor, you are considered "anonymous", and you do not get a vote. That is the only reason I suggested creating a username, as this wouldn't be a problem in the future. I understand your frustration, but you also have to realize that there are policies that are followed, and unfortunately, as an IP editor, your options are less than a registered user. I'm very sorry you feel your voice is not being heard, but your comments were transferred to the RfA's talk page, and you're able to continue the subject there. Again, my apologies if this seems unfair, or a criticism, (and I assure you it is not the latter at all,) but I do hope you understand. Ariel♥Gold 04:59, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Spam userpages
Yo, I notice you have been nominating Userpages that are advertisements for speedy deletion. You have the right idea, but according to our criteria for speedy deletion of userpages, they are only speedy deleteable if it is by user request, it is a nonexistent user or if the user page is a non-free image gallery. Advertising userpages do not fall into these categories, but what you might be looking for is Usernames for administrator attention, where you can nominate the username for banning if it is promotional. This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
