[edit] Allah's wager
Could you please provide some source that supports the claim of "Allah's Wager"? It's historically known as Pascal's Wager, and I've never heard of this one. That being the case, I'd like to see some confirmation that this modification of the "original" wager exists. Thanks. – Luna Santin (talk) 00:20, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Denmark-Norway
I have reverted your edit to the article about Denmark-Norway. The precise relationship between Denmark and Norway has been debated thoroughly in the past, and both Lex Regia, Dansk Udenrigspolitiks Historie, and Den Store Danske Encyklopædi agree that the former entity was not one kingdom but two very closely connected to each other, collectively referred to as "Det danske Monarki". More information can be found on Talk:Denmark–Norway. It is true that Danes and others simply referred to the union as "Denmark" just like others referred to Poland-Lithuania simply as "Poland", but these descriptions are not accurate. It is not without reason that the old union was also referred to as the "Twin Kingdoms" ("Tvillingerigerne"), please note the plural. Have a nice day. Valentinian T / C 11:04, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Napoleonic Wars
Please do not list Germany as a combatant in the infoboxes of the coalitions against Napoleon. Firstly, it is just historically wrong. It wasn't until after Leipzig that the German states united against Napoleon. For example, by listing Germany on the allied side in the Third Coalition you are implying that both Bavaria and Wuttermberg fought with Austria which did not happen. Centy – – 17:05, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
I listed Germany as one of the combatants in the Napoleonic Wars in the infoboxes because they have listed the Holy Roman Empire, the Confederation of the Rhine, and the German Confederation as combatants there. The Holy Roman Empire, the Confederation of the Rhine, and the German Confederation are all countries or groups of countries that represent Germany and are German. They included and covered most of present-day Germany and most of what they included and covered was part of it. They perhaps were Germany. That was why I treated, wrote, and listed them as "Germany". There might be some countries which are now part of Germany which they did not contain, or some countries which are not now part of Germany which they did contain, but that doesn't matter. They contained most of the countries that are now part of Germany and most of the countries they contained are now part of Germany.

Sorry. I thought that Empire fashion was a separate form, style, and period of fashion than Regency fashion. That was why I put Empire and Regency fashions into separate sections with separate titles.
