Re: Additionally, in the US 611 has begun to take on meaning of its own. In the same way that get the 411 became synonymous with getting more information "The 611" has become of slang term for getting help or support.

WP:V I couldn't find any evidence of this. Not on slang.otheday, nor on google "get the 611". Urban dictionary reports it as a misinterpretation of 411, and quotes it being mocked in Scary Movie 3. It also looks like it might be self-promotion WP:NPOV... 611Rent (the link advertised) is registered in Atlanta, GA, and so is the anonymous ip address that added it. Or, maybe it's an Atlanta thing :-) Morcheeba (talk) 06:48, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
