5th Ward Boyz

5th Ward Boyz are a Southern hip hop group based out of Houston, Texas, signed to Rap-A-Lot Records group following popularity of Geto Boys. Originally consisted of Andre "007" Barnes and Eric "E-Rock" Taylor, with Richard "Lo Life" Nash joining the group beginning with their second album Gansta Funk following his release from prison. Their influences include Dr. Dre, Funkadelic, N.W.A, Ice Cube, Eazy-E, Compton's Most Wanted.[1]
They came to rapalot in 1993 which was 7 years after the label started.
