5MMM (identified on air and in print as Triple M Adelaide) is a radio station in Adelaide, South Australia. They broadcast on 104.7 MHz

Triple M Adelaide used to network the majority of it's shows from Sydney and Melbourne but in 2008 is focusing on local content with Wil & Lehmo and Planet Rock being the only networked shows other than the AFL football.

5MMM had its origins as an AM radio station, commencing broadcasting as 5KA in March 25, 1927 on the frequency 1200 kHz.

In February 1990, 5KA had become the first of two commercial AM radio stations in Adelaide to convert to the FM band following an auction process the previous year. 5KA converted to the frequency 104.7 MHz and its call-sign converted to 5KKA although the station was branded on-air as KAFM.

In 1993, Hoyts Media which owned the Triple M radio network in the eastern states had bought 5KKA but could not adopt the Triple M call-sign in Adelaide as a community radio station already had the call-sign 5MMM. Hoyts then paid 5MMM for the right to use the Triple M name. The community station 5MMM then converted to 5DDD, and 5KKA was then free to change its call-sign to 5MMM and adopt the Triple M network brand.
