Hello, Wikipedia rules change all the time and I've seen admins unaware of this - however, removing stuff from your own talk page isn't a policy violation. Yes, there is consensus that removing warnings isn't very clever, but still, it isn't a policy violation. That said, I'm sure you were acting in good faith. Addhoc 16:39, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Carnatic Music

Could I suggest that mundane editorial disagreements are most likely to resolve quickly and productively when editors observe the following:

  • Remain polite per WP:Civility.
  • Solicit feedback and ask questions.
  • Keep the discussion focused. Concentrate on a small set of related matters and resolve them to the satisfaction of all parties.
  • Focus on the subject rather than on the personalities of the editors.

Thanks! Addhoc 23:04, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Images

Please stop removing tags and imagevio templates from images. What you call "low res newspaper scans" are copyright violations. I've confirmed this at Wikipedia_talk:Copyright_problems#Are_images_obtained_from_a_newspaper.27s_website_.22scans.22.3F. utcursch | talk 09:29, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

I've blocked you for 24 hours removing imagevio notices and other tags from the images. utcursch | talk 09:44, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
