There was already a link at the top of the Order of the British Empire article to CBE (disambiguation) where readers can click to go to Coimbatore and other meanings of CBE. However, various authors had created many Wikipedia articles that included a link to CBE, and all of them were referring to the British honours by that name. I hope this explains why CBE was set up to "redirect" to the above article.
