User talk:59.154.24.147
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This IP address, 59.154.24.147, is registered to Optus Customer Network, an Internet service provider through which numerous individual users may connect to the Internet via proxy. This IP address may be reassigned to a different person when the current user disconnects.
For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case, please see here.
If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user.
Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.
Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation. |
It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed content from Carl Unger. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you. [edit] Your edit to List of Australian companies
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites that you are affiliated with, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. [edit] Your edit to The Veronicas
Your recent contribution(s) to Wikipedia are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed. Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content in the article? You can use a citation method listed at inline citations that best suits each article. Thanks! SkerHawx 00:37, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, 59.154.24.147! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule petitiononline\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. Whoever puts these in, FireDemon in my case . I am not involved in anything else listed here so I don't understand how my IP is related . What I suggest is I am on a nationwide Satelite network with Bordernet in Melbourne Australia and it may be someone else on the same network.
Regarding my edit of FreeOTFE I have added a fact that can be verified and backed up in any way you please. If you disagree with this fact then by all means remove it but I thought this was the purpose of the edit function . To get a summary of the essential facts on the subject
You may contact me tytower@yahoo.com.au.

[edit] You have been blocked
Greetings, 59.154.24.147; unfortunately, your latest contributions to the encyclopedia have been harmful to Wikipedia, and you have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours. Hopefully when you return your attitude to the encylopedia will have improved, and you will be prepared to contribute contructively.
If you feel this block is not justified, you may: (1) email me by clicking here, or otherwise at anthony.cfc@gmail.com; (2) add the text {{unblock|reason}} to your talk page, which you can still edit.
Blocks at Wikipedia are not a punishment - rather, they are a period to reflect, an opportunity to show understanding and and ability to act responsibly, and a period of time to let the matter pass and be learned from. Wikipedians, Administrators and the Community have a real desire for everyone who is capable of acting responsibly to be able to enjoy editing; please bear this in mind for the duration of your block.
Regards,Anthøny

[edit] Speedy deletion of Talk:McInerney
A tag has been placed on Talk:McInerney, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
