You are a liar. Even I have read Brian Cloughley's (and it is not spelled as Cloughy; proves how seriously you read his book) book and he himself mentioned "Indian and Pakistani accounts not only contradict each other but are sometimes also internally inconsistent". He never claimed that Pakistan lost 40 tanks against India's 30. He was stating Pakistani government's claims. I suggest you to read sentences carefully before jumping to conclusions. It is a well proven fact that Pakistan lost 97 tanks against India's 32. Please keep your Pakistani propaganda to yourself. The Pakistani government has a long history of making up stories (as evident in the Benazir Bhutto murder investigation). Whom are you trying to fool here? --Mellisa Anthony Jones (talk) 12:42, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
According to Library of Congress Country Studies account on 1965 war: "Most Pakistanis, schooled in the belief of their own martial prowess, refused to accept the possibility of their country's military defeat by "Hindu India" and were, instead, quick to blame their failure to attain their military aims on what they considered to be the ineptitude of Ayub Khan and his government." It is so easy for your government to fool you guys. No wonder Pakistan is in such a messed up state right now, --Mellisa Anthony Jones (talk) 13:05, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Battle of Chawinda, you will be blocked from editing. TonyBallioni (talk) 14:05, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.- Strike-out explanation I reverted an edit of this ip which had deleted a large portion of the Battle of Chawinda's infobox. At the time All I saw was that a large amount of bytes had been removed by an IP without an edit summary. After posting this warning I was contacted by the IP explaining the reasoning for the change which I agree with and was informed that he would be reverting my edit. My apologies for the confusion. Please have a look at this which is an article by an Indian general stating that Pakistan lost 97 tanks and this is a paper by a neutral author also stating the same. Please note the casualties in both Khem Karan and Asal Uttar have to be counted for. Regarding Brian Cloughley, I was stating that he had got most of his information from Pakistani sources regarding the 1965 war and he had himself stated that Indian and Pakistani records were internally inconsistent. Cloughley was not exactly a war historian and he had written this book specifically for the Pakistani market, therefore I am not going to rely on his "claims". There is no other neutral or international assessment which does not state that Pakistan lost close to a hundred tanks in the Asal Uttar/Khem Karan/Patton Nagar sector. However, I would love to be proved wrong. --Mellisa Anthony Jones (talk) 19:56, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New Pakistan Army Divisions
Sir, I recently added Corps Reserve V Corps under V Corps (Karachi) and Corps Reserve XXXI Corps under XXXI Corps (Bahawalpur) but the user 202.125.143.66 (talk) changed those divisions to 25th and 26th Mechanized Divisions. I did a quick search on the internet and found that The News newspaper is using 26th Mechanized Division and Corps Reserve XXXI interchangeably. source.
But, I would be glad if you could do some search on it, and correct me if I made a wrong assumption. Regards. Razzsic (talk) 18:29, 27 May 2008 (UTC) btw, it would be much cooler if you could register an account with Wikipedia, so I can know who I'm talking to.
