The 57th National Hockey League All-Star Game will be held at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, home of the Montreal Canadiens, during the 2008–09 NHL season in conjunction with the Montreal Canadiens Centennial Year. The league awarded the All-Star game to the Montréal Canadiens because of the team's 100th anniversary. The succeeding All-Star Game, the 58th, will be held in 2011, instead of 2010, due to changes in the NHL Collective Bargaining Agreement and the scheduled 2010 Winter Olympics.[2]
