51SIM Social Innovation and Music Festival

The 51SIM Social Innovation Movement (Chinese: 51SIM社会创新和音乐节) is a charity fund raising company in China.
In preparation for the 2008 Olympic Summer Games in Beijing, the Beijing Olympic Program is sponsoring, in July 2008, the 2008 'Meet in Beijing' China International Youth Arts Week.
The International Youth Arts Week will be held in the first week of July 2008 and will present a number of international performers in a diverse program of music, dance, and other arts. 51SIM is holding two events on July 12th and 13th to mark the finale of this week long celebration.
The 51SIM events are being held to provide people knowledge about social development and innovation opportunities in China.
These events are not the only activity of 51SIM. 51SIM stands for a charity organization with a focus on promoting and introducing social innovation programs in China. The 51SIM festival will be the launch of a range of ongoing social development programs throughout the year.

The two events this year will be a club night on the 12th July and a TV show on the 13th July.
July 12th “La Boum de Luxe" Club night
A host of International DJs, Pop stars and artists from Austria, Switzerland, Dubai and China will be coming together to help spread innovation through the medium of sound.
All proceeds from this event are going towards rebuilding disaster struck schools in Sichuan province.
July 13th 51SIM TV show
Held at the Great Hall of the People this TV show will showcase a host of National and International stars providing performances and speeches. This TV show will reach out to a massive international audience of over 1 billion people.
