[edit] Merged
I went ahead & merged what is here into Editions of Dungeons & Dragons, but I figure this is more a stub for what is (presumably) going to be announced in...about an hour, so I'll let it stand as a duplication. Okay? --mordicai. 21:38, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Delete this article?
Essentially "4dventure" was a temporary marketing term for the 4th edition of Dungeons & Dragons. Temporary marketing terms don't really need articles. While you could rename it something like "4th edition Dungeons & Dragons," individual editions of D&D don't have articles; they're all covered at Editions of Dungeons & Dragons. 4e is covered there. I'm prone to put this up for deletion, but since that's a bit of a bureaucratic hassle for people who object, I'd like to float the idea a bit more informally first. Does anyone else care? — Alan De Smet | Talk 23:07, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
Tellingly, there are no pages that Google can find on the mail WotC web site using the term. (The "Cache" link for the three pages it can find notes, "These terms only appear in links pointing to this page: 4dventure". I'm putting this up for deletion. — Alan De Smet | Talk 00:25, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- its early and because i don't like some auto-delete feature replacing human decision and prefer AfD procedure to make sure whatever happens to the information and content herein is dealt with properly i removed the aforementioned deletion template. and doing so on a holiday or around one when people may have other things to do isn't really something someone should do considering wikipedias times for automatic functions. shadzar|Talk|contribs 17:33, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Rightio, that's fine. (Mind you, it's not an auto-delete. The deletion needs to be done by an editor who hopefully excercises common sense.) It's now up for AfD. — Alan De Smet | Talk 06:34, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
