[edit] Maine Coon
Hello, your edits to the Maine Coon article are welcomed and a great additon, with the exception of most of polydactyl claims. But in doing so, you deleted the formatted referenced links linking to a reliable source, and replaced them with a self published source. I couldn't figure out what was what, so, I reverted all the edits you made. I'm sorry about that, but it was too difficult to remove all the self published references and add back the reliable ones, without messing up the whole article. I tried to combine them, but it proved too difficult so I just gave up.
Self published websites, such as GeoCities, are discouraged. In fact there were many such references in the article before, but were removed by someone else a while ago for this reason.
You are most welcome to add most of that information back as it is very interesting and does indeed improve the article, but please do not delete the reliably sourced information, as Cat Fanciers is more reliable than self published ones. Hope you understand. Thanks. ←Gee♥Alice 03:26, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
