[edit] List of Winners

From the main page: List of winners: Nashville, 2005 - "pieces" by non-sense films. http://nonsensefilms.blogspot.com

A single item isn't really a list; it sort of implies that there are far fewer winners than there actually are. Maybe someone wants to make a list of all winners from 2005?

[edit] New Zealand

The New Zealand 48 Hours competition is not related to The 48 Hour Film Project, which is based in Washington, D.C. I would suggest removing the reference to the New Zealand competiton and creating a seperate entry for it. Does anyone object?

Nashville: removed link. Different organization. 48 Hour Films Official Site (New Zealand)

222.153.120.245 re-added 48HOURS, but without a neutral point of view. Given the confusion we've had so far, it probably does make sense to talk about the separation of the two organizations. To that end, I've moved the information on 48HOURS to a stub and referenced it here, hopefully with NPOV. Shadowfax37 20:47, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tragedy during competition

In July of 2006, the 48 Hour Film Festival experienced its most tragic and controversial moment...etc.

Saddened to hear about this. We need better verification. A a link to a story in a newspaper, maybe? nashville

Removed the reference to the death. The information is incorrect--I've spoken to Ira Livingston, the producer of the Minneapolis competition. Shadowfax37 16:57, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Note to vandal: That's not cool.

[edit] Precursor projects

I had updated the Louisville year to 2002 because Louisville already had a similar competition that predated this project. I'm not sure if this new project replaced the old competition or not. At any rate, it might be worthwhile to have information about precursor projects in various cities that got merged into this project as it went nationwide. —  Stevie is the man!  Talk | Work 13:55, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

As far as I know, there is no relationship between the 48 Hour Film Project and any precursor competition in any city. Maybe there should be a separate entry for the other Louisville contest? Shadowfax37 15:59, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] National Film Challenge

Sorry for re-adding what you deleted, Nashville--I didn't look at the changes closely enough before I did it. Let me know if you think the National Film Challenge shouldn't be in the article. I've spun it off to a stub and referenced it here, under the list of cities. Maybe we should have a notes section? Shadowfax37 17:14, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

I think it is fine the way it is now. Nashville 14:57, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
