AWM Caption: Lincolnshire, England. 1944-12-05. "Nick" the Nazi Neutralizer, a Lancaster aircraft of No. 463 Squadron RAAF, RAF Station Waddington, which has completed sixty seven operations. Twice this aircraft has returned safely with half the tail plane shot away.
