45 RPM was the first solo studio album released by the DJ Paul van Dyk. The CD was originally released in two versions, the standard edition and the limited edition double CD with several bonus tracks on the second disc. On Vinyl a 10" version was released as was a 12" LP. When Paul moved to the Mute label in 1998, the album was re-released with two tracks from the Emergency EP and the E-Werk remix of "For An Angel", which became a highly acclaimed trance record and van Dyk's most reputable release.
