The 43rd Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry was an infantry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War.

The 43rd Wisconsin was organized at Madison, Wisconsin and mustered into Federal service by companies between August 8 and September 30, 1864.

The regiment was mustered out on June 24, 1865.

The 43rd Wisconsin suffered one enlsited man killed or fatally wounded in action and 2 officers and 72 enlisted men who died of disease, for a total of 75 fatalities.[[1]
