[edit] Good article process

Articles need to be reviewed on the Good article candidates page where an independent reviewer will PASS or fail the article based on the Good article criteria. Please refrain from just randomly adding the GA tag to articles like you did with the Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo article. Agne 16:27, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

If you feel the article is of GA quality then list it on the WP:GAC page and review it according to WP:WIAGA. Keep in mind that if other editors feel that it does not meet Good Article quality then they can de-list it. Agne 16:34, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Again, go through the proper channels. The GA tag is not a "joke tag". If you continue to improperly add the tag you will be at risk of WP:3RR. Agne 16:39, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Adding info from my talk page to keep discussion centralized
Uh... no.. they dont... I have not edited that article, therefore I am an independent editor. Stop trying to distort the GA process. 4.249.0.240 16:31, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Wow! Your rationale for removing the GA sure changed quickly. Wikipedians can remove the GA when they believe the article does not meet the GA merits. However, given your original stated reason for removing it, you can not remove the GA template. I suggest you get another editor, other than Chacor, to remove it. 4.249.0.240 16:37, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

I reverted that edit once so I guess if I revert two more times, I'll consider your thinly veiled threat that I should beware of WP:3RR. While deliberately misrepresenting Wikipedia policies may work with new editors, it won't with me. I suggest you leave me alone before you dig yourself into a bigger hole. 4.249.0.240 16:42, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Encouraging you to follow policy and go through the proper channel is not intimidation or threats. But you are more then welcome to seek an Admin's view on the Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard. I'm sure they would be of help in clarifying any questions you may have. Agne 16:46, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
