This is a photograph of Harold Pinter at the Honorary degree ceremony at the University of Leeds, conducted by Chancellor (Lord) Melvyn Bragg on April 13, 2007. It is used to illustrate the event (getting the honorary degree) in Harold Pinter and academia and in Honors and awards to Harold Pinter.

1. The photo is posted on the website BBC News without credit to any particular photographer. This is a press photograph that appears in this news source without attribution. It is not likely that a free alternative can reasonably be created. [See below; it appears to originate from the U of Leeds press office for posting in the conference site (Harold Pinter Society website hosted by the U of Leeds) discussed below.]

It is most likely that the photo that he posts captioned "pinter_groupweb" was provided to him by the photographer employed by the U of Leeds press office for promotional press releases such as that published by the office and by BBC News for further publication in promoting and publicizing the event that occurred at the U of Leeds on April 13, 2007. That is the photograph cropped by BBC News. (See above.)

This is a copyrighted image that has been released by a company or organization to promote their work or product in the media, such as advertising material or a promotional photo in a press kit. The copyright for it is most likely owned by the company who created the promotional item or the artist who produced the item in question; you must provide evidence of such ownership. Lack of such evidence is grounds for deletion.
