The patch of the 40th infantry brigade combat team, cited by the U.S. Army’s Department of Heraldry is not the one listed in this photo. The photo is incorrect and needs to be changed. Please check your sources, although the patch is on the California site it is not authorized by a much more reputable source, that being the US Army’s Department of Heraldry.
