[edit] Was the ? the Pearl?
On the blast door map, six stations are shown circling the "?". However, if the Pearl is merely another Dharma station, then what is the "?"? Or was the Pearl the "?"? If so, then one of the stations circling it is not really a Dharma station at all. Can anyone verify anything about the "?" and the Pearl? ShadowUltra 00:20, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- There where lots of buildings in the blue map, those buildings included labeled hatches/stations such as The Swan (6 o'clock), The Flame (8 o'clock), The Staff (10 o'clock), The Arrow (1 o'clock), two unlabeled stations (2 & 4 o'clock) which and one scribbled out (11 o'clock). There where other things in the map such as small squares which we don't know what they are yet, they are tagged as CV I, CV II, CV III, CV and CV IV (roman numerals). The question mark in the middle of the map is unknown by whoever drew that map which is obvious when we learn that it's The Pearl and it's an observation station which presumably no one knew about. So, in the side labels around the map the mapmaker somehow knew that there is something named "The Pearl" but didn't know where it is or what it's for, in the text around the map he/she thought that (CV IV) was The Pearl which is at 3 o'clock of the map. --muhaidib-- (Talk | #info | ) 02:27, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Locke's Dream, not Eko's
The dream was Locke's, not Eko's, even though Eko was the "actor" in the dream. In other words, it was a dream Locke was having about Eko. (Perhaps Locke WAS Eko in the dream. Who knows). When Eko reached the top of the cliff, Yemi said "wake up, John." He did NOT say "wake up Eko." This is significant, and erroneously described in this article. Anyway, I find it interesting that even tho Locke saw in the dream what would have certainly been Eko's death, he let Eko climb the cliff anyway without warning him. Recall that Locke had also seen a vision of Boone dead, and let him climb into the airplane anyway, with fatal results. I think Locke was willing to risk Eko's life to gain key infomration, perhaps viewing him as another "sacrifice the island demanded." I don't think Locke places a very high value on human life, really. He gives me the creeps sometimes. --C.67.170.176.203 06:58, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

During the Lockdown incident, while being trapped under one of the blast doors, Locke saw the blast door map for the first time. He later tried to recreate the map on paper by drawing what he remembered. Locke only had a few seconds to look at the blast door map though, so his memories of the details were rather patchy. He appeared to recall the station locations, the 'rivers' and the "?" in the middle the best. After various attempts, particularly in "S.O.S."., Locke finally drew a good copy, which was seen in "?", when he was handing it to Mr. Eko
