3some
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
3some is the name of an annual festival of original student-written theatre, produced by the University of Canterbury Drama Society, in Christchurch, New Zealand. Its deliberately provocative name refers to the number of plays, three, that are selected for performance each year (although on a few occasions (in 2003, 2004 and 2007) the number has been enlarged to include four plays, and so hence the extended title 3some with 4play).
The festival is a crucible for encouraging new writing from students, and many of its plays' authors are first-time writers. The next 3some will be in late 2008.
